With New Year Eve round the corner, Abhishek and Aiswarya Rai Bachchan have returned to Mumbai.
They were filming for Mani Ratnam's Ravana down South. And with Amitabh Bachchan wrapping up his Pune leg of Teen Patti as well, it looks like the Bachchan parivaari is going to bring in 2009 together.
"The house is complete now and full! Abhishek and Aishwarya came back by the afternoon! There is something about completeness in a family. The house begins to smell right, the furniture the lights the food everything about it suddenly comes to life. Such an endearing moment. This long interval and gap has detached all of us. Now together, there is the urge to spill out all that we wanted to say to hear to inform," says the Big B.
Despite their grueling schedule, the Bachchans had ensured their dates allowed them to return home to be with family on New Year Eve.
"Aishwarya was really missing Mumbai. For more then a month she was shooting with Abhishek in remote areas of Kerala and Ooty for the shooting of Ravana. The area where they were filming didn't even have proper network coverage and therefore the two were feeling completely cut off from the world. After that Aishwarya went to Chennai and Vellore to shoot with Rajnikanth for Endhiran. She had already told the makers of these films that she won't be shooting during New Year Eve as she wants to spend time with her in-laws," informs a source close to the actress, "She is very family oriented and misses her family very much. Both Abhishek and Aishwarya will be in Mumbai for at least one week. They are planning to have small get-together for their family and friends."
The couple is expected to return back for filming in a week's time.
