Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s much anticipated film, ‘Rann’ will see Amitabh Bachchan in a never seen before role. In ‘Rann’ Amitabh will essay the role of a media personality who is a hardcore upholder of journalistic ethics and runs a private TV news channel.
The producers of the film have chosen October 10, Big B’s birthday eve to unveil the theatrical trailer. And the birthday boy himself will do the honours in the company of director and good friend RGV.
The grand occasion will be celebrated at a plush multiplex in the suburbs of Mumbai. “There will be a cake cutting ceremony to celebrate Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday that falls on October 11 and salute the legendary actor for completing 40 glorious years in the industry,” informs an insider.
