SRK's high hopes on forthcoming films

Shah Rukh has almost finished shooting for his next home production Billo Barber and is about to start filming for Aditya Chopra directed Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.

About the movies, he says: "I have finished 50% shooting for Billo Barber and I am starting work on Adi's Rab Ne… from May 15. The film will release on December 23. Yash Raj is in the process of selecting a new girl for this role. I hope both will be liked by the audience."

He adds, "I always feel that my next year is the best year. I have worked hard for last four months and I am about to become mad so I am hoping for a good result."

About Billo Barber

The storyline of the film is based of the famous epic story of Krishna and Sudama's friendship. Shah Rukh plays a filmstar and Irrfan Khan the barbar (Billo).They are childhood friends but after growing up one becomes a star living in a city while his barbar friend lives in a small villlage.

Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are supposed to be doing hot item numbers with SRK in the film which is supposed to release next year.

The film is a remake of the super hit Malayalam flick Katha Parayumbol. Priyadarshan is directing the movie. In the original, Mammothy played the role of the star and Sreenivas the barber.

About Rab Ne…

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is a love story of a 16 year old girl and a 40 year old man. SRK is going to play the latter, an NRI who comes to Punjab and is rumoured to fall in love with Sonam Kapoor,who will portay the role of the 16 year old. There is going to be twist in the end with a second girl entering. The buzz is that Deepika will play this role. Rab Ne… will be Aditya Chopra's first directorail venture in eight years. He last directed Mohabbatein (2000).
