The ‘K aminey’ co-stars go on a movie date
The choice of the film could not have been better - Love Aaj Kal, hailed as the perfect date movie. Good friends Shahid Kapur and Priyanka Chopra, who have got the entire media guessing about the status of their relationship, watched Saif Ali Khan’s home production at a night show.
The two were spotted walking in together minutes before the 8.30 show of the movie at a suburban multiplex. They had booked four seats in the last row of the auditorium. Lest someone disturb them, they kept a seat on the either side vacant.
Well, Shahid had his reasons to watch the film. Firstly, he must have wanted to see how director Imtiaz Ali has evolved after his last outing Jab We Met which had Shahid and Kareena Kapoor playing lovers. Secondly, being an actor, Shahid must have been interested in seeing the performances by the stars, particularly by Saif, who is dating Kareena now.
Reports say both Shahid and Priyanka loved the film. Shahid was particularly impressed by the movie’s structure.
Meanwhile, the duo is awaiting the release of their film Kaminey, directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. The film releases on August 14.
