About a boy called Govind from Delhi who has the very worst luck one can have in life. Whoever is around him also suffers from this. So people don't want to be near him. Harassed and tortured, mentally, by this Govind moves to Mumbai where he gets into a situation that the story revolves around.
How did you get the role?
Varun Khanna the director was given my name for a supporting actor's role. He auditioned me and found me better suited for the lead and that's how I became Bad Luck Govind!
Did the story ring familiar to you?
Actually we Indians are superstitious in every way. We all believe in something and I have followed it as well. When I leave for shooting I used to ensure that there was a white towel handing outside my gallery. I don't know how, but when I don't see that towel something bad inevitably happens!
Tell us about your journey turning actor from VJ.
Actually I never thought I'd become an actor. Because I was like you - a journalist-kind of VJ. But things happened and I got the chance to become a hero!
How was it working with Hrishita Bhatt? Do you find her interesting?
Ooh don't ask me that! I am in love with her actually. When you have such a beautiful lady with you what else can you do? Don't get me wrong now. I couldn't even flirt with her properly as the cast and crew was around us all the time. So I told her we'll try in the next film.
So have you got any future projects?
As I have become an actor, I should now say there are many scripts on the way. I am reading them and once I sign them I'll let you know. (laughs). Jokes apart, till now now the prasad in my jhola.
