Director Madhur Bhandarkar is all charged up for Corporate 2 and has decided to rope in some big stars along with Bipasha Basu.
The Corporate makers want to make the sequel on a big budget of approximately Rs 20 crores. Producer, Percept Picture Company’s head, Navin Shah, has expressed the possibility of getting in Bipasha for the movie, as she was the main protagonist. Her power-packed performance as Nishigandha Dasgupta in ‘Corporate’ won the lady many accolades.
Navin also mentioned that the old cast of the movie might change. Actors like Kay Kay Menon , Raj Babbar , and Lillette Dubey may not find a place in the sequel as the makers want to sign some big names for the movie, which is going to be multi-starrer drama. ‘Corporate 2’ is in the scripting stage and the cast is not yet finalzed. Again the movie will deal with corporate world and its murkiness. And according to Navin, though the movie is a sequel, its plot will be entirely different.
A few days back there were rumours about Deepika Padukone being signed for the sequel instead of Bipasha. But with Navin’s comment, the buzz doing the rounds has settled. Bipasha has already conveyed her will to be in the sequel.
The buzz related to the making of ‘Corporate 2’ is not new; last year too there were similar speculations. But at that time director Madhur Bhandarkar was busy with his first big-budget movie Fashion , and he never confirmed the news. But sequel to ‘Corporate’ was always on his mind. He might begin working on it after he’s through with his next film Jail , which stars Neil Nitin Mukesh and Mugdha Godse .
